Crochet - Granny Squares

Knowledge of the basic stitches, slip stitch, chain stitch, single, double and treble crochet is required.  This 2 hour fun workshop teaches you how to crochet Granny squares.

Your imagination is the limit as your panels can be converted into blankets, tops, scarves, coasters, rugs, cushions and more! These fun and creative courses are popular so please book early to avoid disappointment.

The topics we aim to cover are:

• Learn how to read more complex patterns
• Learn how to create squares and hexagons
• Learn how to join stitches together to create panels of crocheting. Instructions will also be given on how this skill can be used in many projects

Materials needed:

• Please bring a hook, size to suit you.
• Please bring at least one ball of yarn that is suitable for your choice hook and of your personal colour choice

An information file detailing stitches and 2 introductory patterns will included. Spare wool will be available if required.
